We've evolved with our clients since 2005

2006-2008 | The Foundations

Verve™ launched in May 2006 as a graphic design partnership, built around strong creative thinking and long-term client relationships.

That same year, we secured our first client, Target Feeds, a relationship that continues to this day and still shapes how we think about partnership and trust.

By 2007, we had opened our first office in Battlefield, Shrewsbury, and in 2008 we:

Built our first website
Moved into our first ‘proper’ offices
Recruited our first employee, a graphic designer

Became a Living Wage Employer, embedding fair pay early into our culture

2009-2011 | Going Digital

As digital demand grew, so did Verve™’s ambition.

In 2009, we:

Launched our first PPC campaign
Built our first in-house eCommerce platform
Employed our first in-house developer, bringing technical delivery inside the agency
Grew the team to five

By 2010, the team had doubled to ten, and in 2011 Verve™ was formally incorporated as a limited company, creating a stronger platform for sustainable growth.

2012–2014 | A Defining Period

2012 marked a turning point.

We:

Merged with Sticky Lizard, a specialist website build agency
Welcomed Mark as Technical Director, significantly strengthening our technical leadership
Became a Magento specialist, cementing our position in eCommerce
Won the Shropshire Chamber “Managing Change” Award
Moved into Darwin Court, Shrewsbury, which remains our home today

In 2014, we acquired Kudos, a Manchester-based agency, expanding both our reach and capability.

2018-2020 | Scale With Responsibility

By 2018, Verve™ launched its 100th website, a milestone that reflected not just volume, but trust.

In 2020, sustainability became a formal focus as we created our first Green Hosting package, ensuring our digital infrastructure aligned with our environmental values.

2022-Today | Purpose-Led Growth

In 2022, Verve™ became Shropshire’s first design agency to achieve B Corp certification – formal recognition of a commitment we’d been building towards for years: balancing profit with people and planet.

Today, Verve™ is a full-service digital agency delivering design, websites, eCommerce, and digital marketing, while remaining grounded in the values we started with back in 2006.
