About The Client
Future Riders is a DTC eCommerce brand. Founded in 2024 by a parent with a son who enjoys riding himself, they are on a mission to make the world of electric balance bikes more accessible, stress-free and affordable for parents. They stock a range of popular brands and have an ambitious growth strategy.
The Challenge
When Future Riders came to us, they had a very limited budget for their ads. The challenge was building the infrastructure for scale, but having to do so with a budget that could potentially limit algorithm learning (pmax campaigns) and with a seasonal product where stock levels could also change overnight. Given the margin in this industry, we also knew we needed a strong ROAS, with the client targeting 10+ as a minimum.

In this case, the team quickly identified that the brands being sold already had solid demand behind them, but customers were struggling to know where to buy from. We set out to become the shop they would find and choose when searching for Revvi, Amped, RFN or Stomp bikes. This was where we believed each paid click gave us the highest chance of conversion, and given margins plus the need to scale profitably, chasing converting clicks was essential. Our team call this strategy ‘sniping’ – it’s fulfilling existing demand by providing the solution, not generating it at the top of funnel.
The results have been extraordinary. We are now spending more than 10x our initial budget, and all of this scaling has been achieved at well over the 10x (1000%) ROAS we were set as a target. In some months, we hit 40 ROAS due to seasonality and sold out of bikes entirely.
