The Client:

The trusted horse feed specialists have hundreds of stockists around the UK but decided to make the decision to sell direct to the consumer. Rowen Barbary have been a client of Verve’s for over 15 years and we were delighted to be able to work with them, supporting them every step of the way, on such an exciting project.

The Brief:

The brief from Rowen Barbary was to support their transition to direct-to-consumer sales with a powerful yet easy-to-use eCommerce platform. Working alongside Verve™, the aim was to create a scalable website that educates customers, simplifies product selection, and delivers a seamless buying experience – while integrating content, smart functionality, and multisite capability to build trust within this specialist market.

The Design:

The new site features bespoke development that enable the company to effectively meet customer demands and needs. These functionalities were created to ensure that the company could supply their customers with a fantastic user experience. Verve™ created a ‘perfect feed finder’ which allows the customer to add in specific details about the animal and the feed finder function will bring up the best suited food that is recommended for the needs and lifestyle of the animal.

The website included a WordPress integration that features useful guides and articles allowing customers to browse by news or guides, making it easy and accessible to read the latest news and riders advice. These were all extremely important elements of the new website for the company as it instills trust.
