The Client:
Waterwise are the UK’s leading independent voice on water efficiency. The UK is already running out of water, and water scarcity has a very negative impact on people, the environment and the economy. From policy to regulation, research and campaigns, they are doing vital work to raise awareness about water efficiency and to drive behavioural changes that make us all value water more.
The brilliant waterwise team helps communities, businesses and governments to understand the value of water and to find ways to conserve it. They are innovative experts in their field who have a genuine passion for their important purpose.
The Brief:
In order to amplify their message and in line with their impact plan, waterwise needed to enhance their online presence with a new website. The website needed to be on-brand and easy to navigate on different device types so that it could serve each segment of their audience effectively. It was really important to waterwise to have a website that was built-for-all and followed best-in-class accessibility standards. In addition, they care deeply about the planet so they needed a low-carbon website built with sustainability in mind and hosted on an appropriate server.
The waterwise team had experience using WordPress and this was the best system to use for their new website.
The Design:
Branding is one of our core specialities at Verve™, and we thoroughly enjoyed breathing new life into the Waterwise brand. Taking a holistic approach, we delivered a complete refresh – from a redesigned logo and carefully selected typography, to custom icons, an updated colour palette, and a comprehensive set of brand guidelines. Each element was thoughtfully crafted to reflect Waterwise’s values and purpose, while ensuring consistency across every touchpoint.
The result is a modern, flexible brand identity that feels confident, cohesive, and future-ready
