Woods of Shropshire wanted to evolve as a business and needed to incorporate new technology into their website so that products were displayed in a clear, quick and accessible way. Alongside Magento 1 end of life the move to Magento 2 was inevitable.
The client had high expectations and to fulfil the wishes and aims we worked with an incredible amount of bespoke functionality, bespoke development and built in SEO modules to ensure that the new site was as user friendly as it could be and head and shoulders above its competitors.
Verve has been working with Woods for a number of years now, who are an established eCommerce for menswear and have been around since 2002. We have worked to expand and improve their website as well as extensively working on their Digital Marketing to include their Adwords, their on-page and off page SEO, Google My Business and Social Media. The team has continued to improve Wood’s online offering with new algorithms, releases and products from the Google platform as well as our in-depth knowledge of the company itself.
We have created numerous banners, visuals and graphics for the existing website as well as integrating any changes requested by the client and updates to keep the site running as smoothly as possible and looking ahead of the game seasonally.

The huge range of features include an enhanced search, mega menu search, a currency switcher, improved layered nav, Feefo integration, multi payment systems to include paypal and sage pay, marketing enabling tool for abandoned basket emails and mailchimp integration.
One of the most complex functions Verve created was the bespoke development of category pages to allow users to select the colour variation and add the product to the basket directly from the category page. We created specifically with the user experience in mind and ease of conversion, allowing the user to easily and quickly add multiple product sizes and colour variations.
With backend and frontend developers, designers and marketeers all working closely with the client to achieve every request and overcome every obstacle the outcome was a site that stood out and boasted one of a kind functionality.
