The role

We’re looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to join our experienced, growing team at Verve, based at our studio in Shrewsbury.

This role is perfect for a versatile, hands-on digital marketer who enjoys juggling multiple channels, building strong client relationships, and delivering work that genuinely makes a difference to clients’ bottom lines. You’ll work across PPC, SEO, social, content, and email, with the autonomy to take ownership, backed by a supportive team.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll be supporting and managing digital marketing activity across our retained client portfolio, including:

• Managing client accounts and being a key day-to-day point of contact
• Playing an active role in winning new digital marketing business and growing Verve’s retained client portfolio
• Planning, running and optimising PPC campaigns (Search & Social)
• Managing organic and paid social media activity
• Delivering SEO strategy and ongoing optimisation
• Creating and coordinating content, including blogs and email campaigns
• Attending and contributing to client meetings
• Working closely with designers, developers and directors to deliver joined-up campaigns
• Managing and building your own marketing team
• Work with the directors to further develop the agencies digital marketing offerings

 

About you

• Essential experience & skills:
• • Proven experience managing PPC campaigns and delivering results
  • Strong understanding of SEO and how it drives results
  • Experience with social media management (organic and paid)
  • Experience using several key marketing platforms: Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Typeform, Calendly, SEMrush

• Strong eCommerce background

• Excellent written English and attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly organised, with the ability to prioritise, manage deadlines, and organise others.
• Confident building proactive, positive client relationships
• A team player who’s happy to roll up their sleeves and support others
• Commercially aware and results-focused
• Comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced agency environment

 

Ideally, you’ll also have:

• Previous experience in a digital or creative agency, or working closely with one.
• An understanding of website builds, ideally using WordPress, Shopify & Magento
• Experience with Social PPC
• A genuine interest in digital marketing trends, tools and technologies
