Front End Website Developer

The Role:

We are seeking a Front End Website Developer to join our creative team of web designers, graphic designers & marketing professionals based in Shrewsbury, Shropshire. The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate strong and cutting-edge HTML, Responsive CSS, UI/UX & JavaScript/jQuery skills. A good eye for detail and the ability to apply finishing touches is also necessary. The ideal candidate will have strong WordPress, Magento & Shopify skills and ideally will have built multiple sites in an agency environment.

Key Responsibilities & Skills:

• Hand-coding HTML, CSS & JavaScript in order to take designs from PSD to HTML using the latest innovations and best practices.
• Developing across multiple devices
• A good level of experience using the Bootstrap & Tailwind libraries.
• Familiarity with VCS, preferably Git.
• The ability to build the code into CMS systems such as WordPress, Magento & Shopify.
• Strong interpersonal, communication & timekeeping skills
• Strong finishing skills and a keen eye for detail to ensure the websites are of premium quality.

About You:

We would love to speak to people who have a passion for the industry and keep up to date with the latest trends and technologies. We are looking for someone who is very thorough in their workload with the ability to produce accurate and high-quality work.  On a daily basis, the successful applicant will be involved with building a large and diverse selection of sites. From complex eCommerce sites to smaller brochure WordPress sites. You will be reporting directly to the Technical Director.

We operate from our offices in Shrewsbury and are considered one of the premium digital agencies in the area.

Hours:

This is a full-time position, and ideally office based, however, we would consider hybrid.
